New Palazzo Resin-Bound Driveway in Sale
This 48m² resin driveway in Sale transformed an ageing driveway and adjoining lawn into a larger, practical entrance. The existing driveway and lawn were fully excavated and removed so the replacement could be constructed as a complete new driveway rather than an overlay.
We installed a full VubaMac sub-base system, finished with New Palazzo Vuba resin and framed with a slate-grey block-paving edge. The contrasting border defines the driveway and complements the light aggregate finish.
Before the Transformation
Full Excavation and VubaMac Preparation
The full 48m² area was excavated to the required levels, including the original driveway and adjoining lawn. All excavated material was removed before the new driveway foundations were installed and compacted.
A complete VubaMac sub-base system was then constructed to provide a stable, permeable foundation for the resin-bound surface. Careful preparation at this stage is essential for long-term strength, drainage and performance under regular vehicle use.
Installing the New Palazzo Resin finish
Once the VubaMac base and slate-grey block edging were complete, the New Palazzo resin-bound blend was mixed and installed across the prepared surface. The light natural aggregate creates a clean finish, while the darker block border provides definition around the driveway.
The finished resin surface is smooth, permeable and low maintenance, creating a practical new entrance while increasing the usable parking area.
