50m² Bilsdon Park Resin Driveway in Urmston
The Trafford Landscape Company transformed an approximately 50m² gravel driveway in Urmston into a complete resin-bound driveway constructed for regular vehicle use.
The existing gravel area was removed before the ground was prepared and a full VubaMac sub-base installed. The driveway was finished in Vuba’s Bilsdon Park resin blend, framed with a Tobermore Pedesta Heather border and completed around a fitted recessed manhole cover.
From Gravel Area to Full Vuba Mac Driveway
The original driveway consisted of a large gravel area. This was removed so the new installation could be constructed from a properly prepared foundation rather than relying on the existing surface.
The project included:
Removal of the existing gravel and preparation of the driveway area.
Careful setting of the finished levels and border lines.
Installation of the full VubaMac sub-base system for a stable resin-bound foundation.
Construction of the Tobermore Pedesta Heather border to frame the driveway.
Installation of a recessed manhole cover so the access point remained practical without interrupting the finished appearance.
Application of the Bilsdon Park resin-bound surface across the approximately 50m² driveway.
Building the driveway as a complete system allowed the foundations, edging, access cover and resin finish to be planned together.
Bilsdon Park Resin with a Pedesta Heather Border
The Bilsdon Park resin blend created a consistent, low-profile surface across the full driveway, while the Tobermore Pedesta Heather border clearly defined the edges and added contrast around the installation.
The recessed manhole cover was incorporated into the driveway rather than left as an exposed utility cover, helping the completed area retain a cleaner and more coordinated appearance. The result was a practical new driveway that replaced the loose gravel with a properly constructed, professionally finished surface.
